Golang Job: Automation Tester

Role: Backend Automation Tester

Skills

The candidate should have following skills to be effective in this role:

• Ability to comprehend complex distributed systems, including modular monoliths and microservice architectures.
• Clearly understand and be able to test various failure scenarios in a distributed system.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a proactive interest in identifying edge cases.
• Experience in writing automated tests (proficiency in Ruby/Golang is nice to have).
• Understand and leverage existing in-house testing frameworks at Chime.
• Be able to collaborate effectively with product owners, team leads, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive test scenarios.
• Be able to audit and identify testing gaps in existing end-to-end tests, proposing and implementing improvements.
• Possess a strong understanding of CI/CD and have hands-on experience with continuous deployment processes.
• Be able to define and measure meaningful quality metrics and report test coverage.
• Experience in manual, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Be able to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of the product's quality throughout the migration project.
• Able to validate data pipelines, identify data anomalies, and define data quality metrics for large data migrations
